Dent in trim around shifter
Dent in trim around shifter
Hey all, quick question... I have a dent in the trim by the shifter on my sedan. it'd on the passengers side of the shifter. I have an automatic and it's a 2010 so I have the Shodo trim. Is there any way of replacing that individual piece of trim??? I have NO IDEA how this happened and every time I see it, it drives me nuts!!!. Are these cars that delicate. I'm almost afraid to drive the car as I might damage it some how lol. THis car is approximately a month old and this is going to drive me nuts every day looking at it!

It says the part that includes the shifter trim costs around $430.
If you can access the opposite side on the panel that is dented, it may be possible to raise ("tap out") the dent if its not too severe. I've seen this done before, but you have to know how to do it the right way. It won't be perfect, but it should be much less noticable than it is now.
