intake doesn't matter. it will fit whatever. If you are looking for a good performance and good sounding intake check out the Stillen gen3 CAI.

Exhaust will be a bit trickier b/c you have the X. There are not very many exhausts that will fit the exhaust b/c of the transfer case

the fast intentions exhaust will fit X's. you just have to ask them for the pipe that goes around the transfer case. i have the stillen catback on my X so there is another option for you

Its something I have started to just live with haha I came from an evo where there are 50000 options for every part aftermarket and almost nothing for my 09G37X. The stuff posted above is pretty much spot on for those. Just wait till you look for springs etc

Exhaust - Fast Intentions without a doubt. Here's mine with pics and vids. The gains are quite significant. It's like a whole new car. I also have the ERZ HFCs (High flow cats). Love them too.

As for intakes. Either the Stillen Gen 3 or the R2c system.

Stillen install/maintenance is a bit more labor intensive than the R2c, but the gains are slightly better. But R2c's filtering ability is unmatched. You just have to decide what's most important. You can't go wrong either way IMO.

hey thanks for the feedback, does the stillen exhaust just bolt on or do you have to fabricate it to fit? also how does it sound?

Stillen is not just bolt on, u have to trim a part little bit. Most people go with either Stillen or Injen. I went with Injen cuz i didn' want to cut any part of my car. Stillen is slightly powerful than Injen but Injen is louder than Stillen.

Kenneth goofed and thought you were asking about the intakes. Wake up Kenneth! lol

I'm actually not sure the Stillen fits the X sedan. The problem is with the front transfer case. The passenger pipe ip front has to be extended to clear it. Fast Intentions has the correct length/bend for that pipe. Seriously, give Tony a call. It's a 2 month wait but SO worth it. I haven't been this happy with an exhaust. Ever.

Great choice on the exhaust! You will absolutely love it! Very much worth the wait! We expect pics and a review in 2 months.

yea man def going to put up pics...I was looking into the r2c intakes and they're pretty expensive compared to other stuff that's out there, is it worth it?

Well, from what I've seen, the Stillen Gen 3 gives better gains, but the install/maintenance is quite a bit more involved. The R2c system is unmatched as far as filtration/engine protection though.

Did you check the exhaust/intake vendor section? I think there's a group buy still going for them.

^yeah that is going to be the case with any CAI vs SRI. The CAI will always give better gains but be a little more difficult to install.

The Stillen Gen3 intakes DO give amazing gains though, and with any aftermarket intake you will be running outside the ideal AFR until you get a tune

There's a DIY on here somewhere. Try to find it. I know I couldn't do it myself. lol But the R2c wouldn't be difficult at all.
