Estimating the value of used G37
Estimating the value of used G37
I am interested in a G37. How does one value a vehicle that is a current year vehicle with only a few hundred miles that is not technically new? The vehicle has been titled. Do I knock off 5-10% of what I would pay for a new one? The tricky part of estimating the value is that cars depreciate so much once they are driven off of the lot that it is hard to get a true gauge of the value (especially with it being a 2010). The other issue is that I doubt that it fits into any of Infiniti special financing deals as it is a used 2010 and they are offering special financing on "new" 2010's or CPO '08 & '09's; therefore a bank or cu may have a conservative estimate of the value. NADA estimates year 1 depreciation (for ownership) at around $13k.
Also, does the warranty transfer? Or should I drop the idea and go after a new one? The dealer has it priced about $1,100 below MSRP.

Value for almost new
I believe you can assume to get 5% - 10% off of the MSRP for a brand new one with some negotiation. So, I would think your talking 10% - 20% off of the original MSRP for a "almost" new one. < 5000 miles. $1,100 off is by far not enough.

1100 below MSRP is actually higher then you would pay for a brand new one. Most people are getting the G for around Invoice. So i would def take about 10-15% off invoice and that would be a good deal....20% off would be a fantastic deal.
Good luck!
Good luck!
I would normally would have suggested kbb as well, but they dont have any info on used 2010 g37s yet on the website...
