^ yep. That's right. Or if you have skin sensitivity to the sun. A friend of mine had a Drs note for his daughter when he had a car with 5% all around (except the front). The car was used and came that way. You can't see anything at night or backup though.

 

Well, I sincerely hope you live long enough to enjoy your 5% tint. But be advised that in certain states like California, such doctor notes are worthless. The law says that for a doctor’s exception the tint has to be “temporary” and must be removed for night driving. In other words, they’re wise to this loophole.

And although I’m not sure about Florida, I have to doubt the cops have anything close to 5%, especially on the windshield. I mean, how could they see you in order to pull you over for illegal tints before you have an accident one sorry nightf?

everyone has their own opinions, that is the beauty of a forum and free speech. don't insult someone (especially a guy who's been around WAY longer than you) just b/c he has a different viewpoint. he didn't mean that in an insulting way, just expressing his strong opinion about the negatives of illegal tinting.
