I say the G has one of the best a/c system too. It cools the car so quickly.

also the way they set up the radio is annoying. No more A-B-C memories....i have to flip through all the FM's and AM to get to XM
That sucks. I love the fact that I can mix and match XM, FM and AM stations on my presets.

Right. Everyone knows VW are perfect. In fact they're so perfect that the current GTI's traction control cannot be fully turned off.

Also the Passat has a dangerous safety issue and it's getting ready to be recalled. If you intend to drive it you cannot look at it before you enter the car. Otherwise before you hit the seat you will be completely as sleep.

That's not the case with my car. The AC is cold but not as cold as it should be. My old car, I35, had great AC. I felt the chill to the bone, and it cooled the car much quicker than the G.

Lmao . But it's still a bit better than most Lexus models (except the LFA, ISF, and maybe IS350): driving any of them will put you to sleep.

that's weird cuz i always end up increasing the temp in my car because the a/c cools so damn well.

VW AG cars are so notoriously unreliable. Good luck with them!

Glad you had a good one but that's a crapshoot!

My Music Box has a problem with albums entitled "Greatest Hits". So far I have downloaded 4 - The Doors, The Byrds, The Fixx, and Tom Petty.

The Music Box can't open just one of these CDs. When I go to Music Library, select artist The Doors, and select Greatest Hits album, the Music Box gives me all 53 songs from all 4 Greatest Hits albums.

And the songs alternate. Song 1 from the Doors CD followed by Song 1 from the Byrds followed by Song 1 from the Fixx followed by Song 1 from Tom Petty followed by Song 2 from the Doors, etc.

Same thing happens when I try to open the other Greatest Hits albums individually.

My coworker just told me her friend's brand new GTI has been in the shop every other month for major repairs.

Come on guys...why are u comparing a GTI with the G. The proper comparison would be the Passat which was my previous car and gave me great service and a good driving experience. I love my G...but come on..

I'd say more like there is really no VW that really compares to the G.

not sure if this has been mentioned yet but:

I hate how the seek button on the steering wheel plays the next song when you push DOWN and plays the last song when you push UP...but its counterpart button for the cruise control speeds UP when you push UP and DOWN and you push DOWN (the way they should both work!!)
