Accident quote?
Nope, not really. When I had an at-fault accident about 8 years ago, my premium went up about $250/ 6 months for 3 years. So, I need to pay about $1500 extra for 3 years.
IMO, if the claim is less than 2k after the deductible, it's not worth to go through the insurance.

And to the OP, even scratches on the plastic of the headlight will require a new headlight (or it likely won't pass inspection). The headlight alone is about $1,000 even if you don't have the tech package lights.
Seriously?!? Man, maybe I should get my headlights modded then....
Glad you're OK & no one got hurt. Hope you won't get to any accidents anymore as the series you had can be costly.
Anyway, a friend with a Lexus IS had almost very similar damage comparing your photo. Figure he forked over was $2K in a good body shop. Around 1 week shop time. But after the work, I saw his Lexus IS. I would not have known it had the damage before. So, possibly any less than this, your work quality may lessen.

wow a $250 dollar deductible... Only accident prone people have a 250 dollar deductible. I think you'll save about a pretty good chuck if you bump it up to 1000....
but yeah two panels is going to be easily 2k. just have to hope that headlight isn't cracked somewhere... that's another 400....
shop around. make sure to go somewhere that has a modern paint system... I had a co-worker go to one that has "history proven quality" and I thought their paint was crap... looked like spray on acrylic... wasn't even polished... the front end was hella glossy... i mean it looked different than the rest of the car even after blending cause the clear coat was totally wrong.
