The salesman fwd'd it to the sales manager, so I didn't have to.

Both of whom replied in a very professional tone.

Here's the reply from the sales manager:
Jason, anytime you’d like to talk about this in person, I would gladly set aside some time with you. If not, I would expect nothing less. Thanks.

And here's the reply from the salesman:

Thank you Jason for your opinions and honesty in dealing with us, we spent several hours addressing your requests, unfortunately not meeting your parameters. Enjoy your new Infiniti and best of luck to you. I extend my thanks for the opportunity to gain your valued business.

I asked, they said that they are managed by a 3rd party, and sent out, so they don't have them to give out. the regular price is $25, which a dealership oil change at that price is crazy as it is.

Thanks for asking! I agree $25 is very cheap!

Jason: I'll give them credit for replying back in a professional tone, but only that. Their initial sales pitch and claims were less then professional IMO. Makes me wonder what the sales manager expects to talk about though, your letter pretty much says it all.

Hey Jason,

I also have an 09 G37xs and have driven it a few times in the snow up here in northern CT and it has been fine, especially with the snow mode turned on. Just like anything else you have to remember that it is a sports sedan and not an suv or a hummer but I have to say I am impressed with the performance in the snow even with the bigger wheels.

Sorry read the post late, good luck with car. I love it when a dealership gets caught in a lie.

Good to hear. Hope to see more reviews on the subject: g37x in snow.

Dunlap sport maxx get bad reviews on TR but who knows.

All seasons = Light snow, not deep snow or blizzards.

Copy paste:
Ultra High Performance All-Season tires are for driving enthusiasts who want a combination of a performance appearance, responsive handling and Z-speed rated (or higher) durability along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Ultra High Performance All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sports cars, performance coupes and high performance sedans.

O.E. Ultra High Performance All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires’ performance category and specifications.

I asked my buddy at Nissan about it tonight, and he's gonna talk to his buddy who's a tire or wheel (or something) engineer there tomorrow, but I'm pretty much convinced based on your guys comments. MUCH APPRECIATED!!

And I'll be going with the Ann Arbor dealer, over Surburban of Novi, even though I live about 3 minutes from Surburban. That dealership is crap.
+1 stay away
sport, if only for the better seats

I have the XS which I bought last November, and then added Dunlop snows.
I was hoping to have a tough winter just to test it out,but wouldn't you know,it didn't even snow at all here last year!?

Very interesting post - I too have had issues with the Novi dealership and only once purchased from there: a 1 year lease on the remaining 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT for dirt cheap. Sales guy name was Stan Lazarski; probably the greatest car salesman name ever. Too bad he got ill and passed away years ago, because he was the only guy I could deal with over there.

Troy dealership treated me even worse. They had a leftover 2008 G35S 6MT sedan in early 2009 that I wanted, but wouldn't honor an additional $2000 incentive from Infiniti. So I ended up getting a dealer in Grand Rapids to trade with them so I could buy that car. Yes, I drove 2 hours away to get the car, but a 4 hour round trip to me is worth $2000. The Troy dealer didn't believe me that other dealers were honoring the additional $2000 incentive.

Anyhoo, congrats on the purcahase that car looks exactly like the one I wanted. I never really dealt with Ann Arbor dealer, but they seem like pretty good guys over there.
