We just keep it off, my wife has her custom settings & I have mine. We both can get in & out without the seat & wheel geting in the way so we really don't need that feature (yet, lol).

 

ya i mean if you keep the auto retract off then there is no way for your seat to move at all if your the only driver it will always be set to memory number "1". But when the auto retract is "on" then sometimes when the seat move when you start the car it seems like the seat or wheel might be a fraction off. but most of the time it matches up exactly how it should be. any thoughts?
