Are you trying to keep women hostage in your car?

My point is that you do not have a sense of humor, enjoy your tank

damn infiniti should have just integrated a inverse wave generator into the head unit. that way you get a active noise canceling system, it wont be perfect... but come on, if they are selling the g based on hi-tech gadgets, they should have put it in.

I, like the OP, dynamatted my front doors, behind the ten inch woofer in the doors, as well as the rear deck and behind the rear seats. I noticed a *slight* increase in tightness as well as less road noise. Worth it if you have the time or dynamat laying around like I did.

Before all is said and done, I will deaden both front doors (inner and outer skin), the entire trunk floor sides and lid, the floor pan and firewall, and the rear seat support and rear deck. I have a ton of different deadeners here but only stuff I'll use on the floor a I don't completely trust that it will stay stuck on vertical surfaces because of it's age.

To me the 70 to 100 lbs of additional weight is well worth the noise isolation it will yield. For those who are super weight conscious and want carbon fiber everything to shave off any ounce of unnecessary weight possible it may not be worth it.

I hear you man. I don't give a rats *** about the slight added weight of dynamat vs the benefits it gives. Hell, my 11 second 240 has full interior PLUS both doors, the entire trunk, and the entire floor pan as well as the entire roof under the headliner lined with dynamat. It just does wonders for making old chassis ride quiter and feel more solid, as well as being easier to live with. For the little bit of added weight, I just turn up the boost more

That's another factor in my case, I will be boosted in the future. I don't need to have the fastest car in Houston, just fast enough for me. I have nothing solid to base this on, but I'd bet that it's entirely possible to get in the low 11's with this car TT'd.

It's well worth the price and added weight I only wish my car wasn't a lease I would have had this done before tint!

I doubt you'll get any grief on a leased car because I doubt they will be pulling up carpet or taking off door panels if everything is working as it should and seems right inside the car. They'll never know.

Yeah, I would assume that 500whp would enable a G37 to run in the elevens. It would probably take 550whp to run mid to low elevens in a car of that weight.
