I've been getting better with my 2011.
I got it 1 month ago, started with doing 20 MPG then driving sanely I've been doing 24.6 but with mainly city (70%). I have also been keeping track on fuelly app to see how it is going and that shows that I'm doing 27.1 MPG so wondering if the G ave mpg is kinda off?

I would love to do 27+ mpg so I'll try to shoot for that. I have just installed an exhaust so right now have a heavy foot, once my thrills go away I'll be back to normal driving and see what's up.

I notice the 87 Octane, doesnt hurt the engine? No pings or anything?
I know on my Evo that's a no no but with the G i'm not really familiar how things are.

Just got back from a 2300 mile trip. Averaged 27 mpg in cruise @78 mph for most of the drive. Drove through the mountains in Kentucky, W. Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York. I love this car it doesn't deviate one bit on speed from the bottom of the mountain to the top. This is the perfect car for long trips. The car is a '08 6mt coupe, all stock. The best mileage I have gotten was last year through Western Tenn., mostly flat. I averaged 29 mpg on that trip @75 mph.

Was thinking about getting the R2C intake. If I drive the same way I do now, just cruising most of the time, will I get better gas mileage? Don't want it for the increased hp, just want to increase my MPGs

It's going to take you 10000000 miles (or abouts) to recover the cost in any gas savings. Still, I've got a Stillen Gen 3 for sale if you want PM me (south OC).
