AC pressure relief valve needed

All I need is a pressure relief valve for the AC compressor on my 2008 G37, I do not want to buy a new compressor.
Can anyone send me in the right direction to find one?

I was under the impression that on most modern AC compressors the pressure relief valve was internal to the unit itself?

What are your symptoms/ where exactly is the leak- if there is one?

That sad, Nissan does not sell ANY parts for the compressor (pressure relief valve or the ECV) for that matter- at least not on any catalog that I searched (US/ JDM/ EUC). You can try getting the model number off of the compressor (should be Valeo DCS-17EC) and try 'googling' for options.

You would be better off just replacing the compressor. Yours is, at least, 17-years-old. The new unit would have fresh seals, springs, bearings, ECV, etc. Even if you found replacement parts, you would still have to evacuate the system, disconnect the refrigerant lines, remove the compressor and so on. Put a new unit on and call it a day- but that just my 10¢.

Just a stuck open pressure relief valve and it is a 5 minute R+R so no need to remove or replace a good compressor, all was fine till one day after the wife drove it the ac was not cooling and the system was empty. Evacuated and found pressure/vacuum dropped rapidly. Partly charged and large leak at valve. Screws right is, 14mm socket on the left side of the compressor. I found one on ebay they say fits, 20.00, not going to spend a fortune on a new compressor if not needed yet.
Thanks

Sounds like you found your own solution then. Odd Nissan doesn't sell that part, but, who knows.

Good luck.

Sure, they make more money selling the whole compressor and I just hope the valve fits, if need be will visit a used car parts lot and score a compressor for 50.00 and just use the valve.
Thanks
