Hey guys I have replaced everything in my ac system except the condenser and expansion valve
Compressor doesn't kick. The freon it's good but pressure it's high it won't kick in IDK if system is clogged or what is the deal I spend soouch money and time in parts. Need all the help I can get!

 

When you say everything, can you list what you changed? did you test/change the pressure switch? if its bad the compressor wont turn on, check fuses/relays too
If the pressure is above spec you can remove some of it, overfilling can damage the compressor...

 

I replaced the compressor the low pressure switch I know the condenser it's new (there also was a leak of coolant who has been fixed) also changed thermostat (which apparently wasn't opening and also can cause high pressure) the AC only works when car it's cold Wich led me to think the thermostat and coolant have something to do with it since it stops once coolant gets warm

 

Did you check to see if you have too much freon? Take it to a garage that can evac. and refill with ac machine

 

Yeah the freon level it's correct.

 

I've been fighting this issue for over a year. Sometimes the compressor kicks on an blows cold so I'm pretty sure that's not the problem. The system has been evacuated and refill three times. I did replace the control unit in the console and that worked for two weeks but the problem returned. I'm pretty sure I have an electronics problem.

 

IDK man mine only works when cold. It's Soo annoying I really don't know what else to do I'm lost. But u should do self diagnosis for ipdm and see if it's actuating the compressor clutch and start from there
