Hazard lights blink after start
Hazard lights blink after start
Hello everyone,
Hope you are doing well. Wanted to ask a question about an issue I noticed recently. I searched the forum but didn't find anything quite similar, apologies if this has been asked before. For the last ~2 weeks I noticed that when I cold start as well as sometimes with a warm start (2010 G37 Journey Sport Coupe) the hazard lights blink 1-2 times. I have also noticed that when I turn the car off and lock it with the button on the door handle, it beeps once (to unlock) rather than twice (to lock). I searched around online and checked my fuses, which seem to be intact. I also have a battery voltmeter in one of the cigarette outlets which has been showing normal range, 12.8 - 14 depending on what equipment is in use. The battery I have is probably 1.5-2 years old.
Wanted to see if anyone could potentially point me in the right direction of what could be the issue? I am leaning towards potentially the battery being the problem even though the voltage has been normal. It has gotten cold recently (NYC) and this issue started around when the temperatures dropped, although I park in a garage. I haven't had any issues as of yet with any other electrical components.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance and apologies if this issue has been answered previously.
