How to lower AWD coupe

I've seen threads and posts on social media on how to go about lowering an AWD, but no one actually gives a "straightforward" answer, supposedly you go through various axles and so my question is how do you "properly" lower a AWD without issues (going through various axles), I have a 2014 Q60 AWD

I have a 2013 G37xS and I lowered mine on Eibach springs made specifically for the AWD coupe. The car sits right where I wanted it, but the springs ruined the cushy ride. If I had it to do again, I would go coilovers with the correct spring rates to preserve the nice ride.

Oh nice yea I've seen those springs, I have done a little more research and some people have experienced issues with their axles when it comes to lowering these cars (AWD) over an inch due to the axles not being long enough. Looks like there are some ways to get around this that the community has tried, such as using axles from a similar vehicle that are a bit longer. Seems like this is a case by case scenario. I'll probably get some BC Racing BR Coilovers and...hope for the best...but I would like someone to comment there experience and workarounds when lowering there AWD
