Got offered this 2009 g37x coupe today for 9700$ it has only 40k miles and when I drove it around it felt amazing. I took it to my personal mechanic and lifted it and was told by like 3 of the workers there that the rust is too bad and peeling when poked in some parts and would end up within a year or 2 having to replace a bunch of parts subframe etc. And i should save like 5kish for repairs. Couple dings and one small dent and seat tears as well. My guys told me 3 - 4k car because of all this. I went back to the seller and told him i aint buyin because of the rust and he dropped price to 9k and said to let him know if i change my mind.

Im curious what yalls thoughts are on this as it drove great and 40k miles for under 10k feels like a steal.

 

no, I'd pass for sure. Though those arms appear to just be pieces you can replace. I wouldn't pay over 7500
