G37x rear diff swap

Hey everyone, i have a 2013 G37X 7AT that i have wired on switches for the option to bypass the AWD solenoid aswell as the brake signal that allows me to only power rear wheels but i can only do one wheel peels.... My goal is to keep the same 3.3 ratio if at all possible so i dont have to mess with front diff but i want to be able to light up both rear wheels. If someone could point me in the best direction it would be greatly appreciated, cheers!

So from my research into the YAW bypass, I learned thanks to Frank @MotorvateDIY that the 7at gives the car a type of electronical LSD by braking the faster spinning wheel which will give you a LSD. By dissabling the Brake input you skip these and revert to Open Diff.

You should try to disable just the AWD to see if it goes to ELSD.

FYI I just read up on the Q50 groups of a member that installed a rear Z1 LSD and had some issues. Car is a bit slower off the line, over all decent results.

I originally tried out the awd switch first without the brake switch but it has a safety mode where it kills power when it senses the accelerator and brake are being pushed at the same time :/

Is there another way i could bypass this safety mode without turing the brake signal off? I would love all the suggestions i can get, i promised myself i wouldnt modify the car until it was paid off and since i do so this past december, im chompin at the bit lol, thanks again

Thats exactly what i did, but i cut the orange wire instead of green and i haven't had any fuse related issues. Provided i turn the car off before engaging the switch

Did you ever find a solution? im currently running into the same issue as you lol. I saw another way to get rid of the brake sensor by cutting a pink wire connected to the fuse box not sure if that would fix the issue tho.

Sorry i made another message for this I also saw that the g37xs comes with a "VLSD" according to another person on this forum (tbh not sure if thats true) but if anyone knew that would be awesome too! im sure a g37xs diff swap wouldnt be too expensive and should be pretty plug and play
Heres a forum related to this same idea https://www.myg37.com/forums/engine-...-on-awd-g.html

I ended up wiring a "kill switch" into the pink wire aswell, but it only lets me do one wheel peels :/ hence the idea of the lsd swap, i will deffinately look into those links you sent, thank you very much

it seems like it should be plug n play but the flanges for the driveshaft are different so it would require some modification as you can’t just hold another flange to it

I will there was an easier means to replace the Ring and Pinion in the stock VLSD to achieve a higher gear ratio. Seems that replacement of the pumpkin (6MT or prior gen G rear diff) with modifications to the drive shaft may be the only option unless I am missing something.
