Coolant hose broken? Or connector snapped?

Hello I am currently looking for help in finding a solution in fixing my G37. As you can see in the picture above, one of my coolant hoses has snapped. Or the connector for the hoses has been broken. I mainly need help in finding out what exactly it may be and if anyone knows how to repair it. Thank you!

 

Passenger side/ rear engine? Heater hose coupling failed. That is a fairly common issue for these cars. Nissan uses a cheap, flimsy plastic coupling which, over time, deteriorates and fails.

Read through this thread (especially post #20) as it provides some good info on how to fix this. Essentially you will need a metal coupling to replace the broken one. Be warned, it is not a hard job but will be VERY frustrating due to the lack of space.

While you are in there and depending on the age of your car, you might be wise to replace the hoses as well.
