Thanks for telling me to double check all the fuses. It was the 10a fuse that says Elec Parts (IGN) in the drivers footwell. It's the fuse which controls the environmental controls and the shifter lockout. That's why I never bothered to check it the first time since it's so non-descriptive. I'm just now seeing that it has happened to others on here too. Noticed when I put the negative cable back on that it was loose on the terminal. Had it tightened all the way but I can still spin it on the terminal by hand. Could that have caused the fuse to blow? And I take it that's a sign that it's time to get a new battery?

Ok thanks for the info, imma look at the fuses again. I checked them the other day and they all looked good but maybe i missed one. And besides my shifter being stuck in park my tailights arent working also.

My taillights never went out though. Just throw a new 10 amp fuse in there and double check your battery cables and pray that solves the problem. https://carkiller.com/scottykilmer/q...es/#post-17954

Double check all of your fuses. Every. Single. One. Then, check any and all ground connections you can find- ensure they are clean and tight (especially those under the hood). I hate to ask, any chance of water leaking into the cabin? Any electronics added/modified?

From the FSM- same diagnostic protocol- check wiring:

Because this issue popped up "out of the blue" makes me believe it is something minor.

i installed a fog light to the taillight and recently took off, when taking off i think there was a short or something because after than the abs, vdc and sip lights came on and car is stuck in park as well, i checked fuses and they look good might have to double check them again, but any idea o what else it could be, any help will be appreciated, thanks

I meant the 10a fuse that says Elec Parts (IGN) in the drivers foot well. That fuse controls a bunch of stuff that aren't even remotely related to each other.
