I did find Oil in the spark plug tube. But it should still be able to start even with Oil in the tube right? Doing a calve cover gasket job on it shortly. But it should still be able to start no?

You're saying it won't turn over, but do you mean its just not starting? If its cranking, its turning over.

it won’t start. It’s cranking... but not turning on.

To answer your question yes it should start with very minor oil in intake tube more like it being damp. If its soaked not to sure buy I'm guessing it's not since you say to have spark so I'm guessing you checked the plugs as well.
I would start by recheck all the wiring.might have to tug on the connections to make sure everything was properly installed. The car may run for a while without a sensor pluged in and then throw a code later on which may cause a no start.follow all the wiring to all the connectors .make sure you have enough oil in it. If you do is it the right viscosity? If that does check out you can then go further into other components.

thank you for the reply. I’ll do that. I already bought the gaskets and stuff to fix oil in the tube so I might as well get that done. I might go buy a small camera snake to check to see if my gallery gaskets are still good... I just replaced them so you never know. I think you’re right it’s probably a sensor somewhere. I’m buying a new engine next week to actually build. If I don’t figure this out I’ll just swap in the newer engine and build this one that’s in it. I’ve already pulled it out once and put it back. It’s actually really easy lol

I bought new camshaft sensors, and new crankshaft positioning sensor. Still won’t turn on. Took the intakes off and sprayed starter fluid in as well... it sounds like it really wants to start but it just won’t. Checked all the connectors... even put the stock intake valve solenoids back in... and nothing. Any suggestions before I take this thing to the stealership. I re ran the codes and now I’m getting these codes

Okay so I bit the bullet and took it to the stealership so I can get a 150 dollar diagnostic.... They said the timing was way advanced to 110 degrees when it should be zero. They believe I will need a new timing chain seeing as I had already covered all my other basis. So open heart surgery it is again... They don't believe it is the sprocket so that's 500+ I'd be able to save on each so that's good news.. when I put the new solonoids on there im wondering if they advanced the timing that much.. or if it jumped timing or what. but im gonna do a complete timing chain install this weekend. should be fun.

Pretty awesome with figuring it out and doing the work on your own. Sometimes you have to go to the dealer to get an accurate answer and get rid of the guess work. Glad you're on your way!
