Better late than never
Better late than never
I have 2008 G37S with the 5 speed auto trans. I have been debating on doing mods on this car or get another car that has the mods done at the factory. It has 13000 miles and the only thing so far that has happened that really pissed me off about it is it has been garage kept the last 12 years, but the dash I cracking all over.
Anyway I am seriously considering doing some extensive mods to the car. CAI, headers, cat back system, supercharger, trans work to beef it up for higher horsepower. I would like to reach at least 600 horsepower to the rear wheels. I would really appreciate any input from other G owners who have gone down this road in modifying their G’s and what it took to reach a high horsepower number with their car. Overall the car is in great shape, still smells new when you get in. I live in Largo, FL. And have a shop nearby that assures me they can do the modifications. I’ve seen muscle cars there Vipers, Chevelles, Hellcats, etc. so I think they have the expertise to do the mods. I hope there are other owners that might have suggestions or input that could be helpful in the pursuit of a high horsepower, kickass G37 that will run with some of the new cars coming out with high horsepower numbers. I plan on going with a Stillen supercharger. If anyone has had good or bad luck getting 600 or more horsepower out of a Stillen, could you please comment and let me know how things went for you. I hope to start on this project 2/3/20 with at least the planning stages with the shop, and what I’ll need and what I can expect from them on this project.
I’ll watch for any in put from my fellow G owners and any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Eric
