Help with modding

I came out of fast sports cars such as Z06 and Srt 8 which had great hp and tq into the g37s manual trans for gas and everyday driving reasons because of relocation for work.
I love the car but it lacks the get up and go off the line that plants you in your seats.
I went on a mod spree and want to make my g37s smoke the above cars I have owned.
I bought new rims and tires along with lowering springs for starters.
The very next day I find myself buying from stillen the long tube CAI's and there catback exhaust along with a set of sway bars to complament the car.
What is my other opionions with this car for tq and hp?
besides being a mod freak cars are addicting I think I need meetings to cure my sickness.

miles each way to work, car payment, gas prices will be climbing this summer to 5.00 a gallon they are claimimg. Not to mention I want to have a car that is a sleeper that will make them **** themselves with all the nice options on a car.
Biggest reason are my kids need a back seat for 1 1/2 year old.
but I still own my 1968 chevelle big block and 1970 440 six pack roadrunner.

Is there a turbo or twin kit out yet?

yea stillen doesn't make the most HP gains. Fast Intentions posted 10WHP an 8lb of torque and is lighter. Stillens site claims 8whp and like 6 lb of torque. you can order high flow cats as well. Intakes have shown differnt #'s but most show a loss of power.
Snails not out yet. chips not out yet. Tunes not out yet. So your best bet is a high quality light weight exhaust and High flow cats or test pipes.

try to lose some of the G's weight. sound deadening materials, spare tire etc. every pound counts in our cars.

yeah solo's right... weight reduction, some power adders turbos/superchargers should be out in the summer I'm hoping. Try to make the car as light as you can, maybe some deletes or carbon fiber additions.

Debating which exhaust gives 2 extra HP is pointless. The ONLY way this guy gets what he is looking for is forced induction and there isn't any available yet...

I understand that there isnt much gain in catback exhaust systems its more about sound and to let hot air flow out, and cai are more for throttle response and keeping cooler temps while crusing.
As far as them losing hp once they are installed that would also be true due to the fact that your car has already calabrated your short and long fuel trims and they were from the previous air system that was on the car.
I would be interested to see dyno results after someone had a cai on there car for over 150 miles. That will give the car enough time to recalabrate for new cai air to fuel trims along with timing adjustmnets.
I cant wait for forced induction systems and tuning.
Does anyone know who makes highflow cats or even headers?

ya sorry my friend a tt g37 is not going to beat or touch the new z06. unless it has stupid hp. My buddies Z06 went 11.1 in the south florida heat with super low tire pressure. He is in the mid 10's now with intake, full exhaust header back, and new chip. thats still on thte oem good years too.
