Window Deflectors 2010 G37x Coupe

Any one know where I can get window deflectors for 2010 G37x Coupe? I had my battery replaced last night and now my driver side window will not automatically raise to full closure. Now, there is a small gap whenever I leave the vehicle. this happens on passenger side window as well, and I'm told it will cost over $1000 to replace the motor and something called a switch. So I'd rather put a window deflector to prevent rain coming in for now.

skrolz, my brother, U DA MAN!!! So it worked wonderfully on the driver side window, but did not fix the passenger side. Although, I've had the passenger side window already worked on by replacing the motor (cost $450) but mechanic says that the switch needed replaced for another $650. I only drive my G37x for work so it's just me. So I never use the passenger side window, only on rare occasions. It's always in the up position. And when on those rare occasions I need to use that side, I normally have the person exit the car and then raise the window to full closure from inside because, as you know, the window goes down a bit when exiting the car. That window doesn't automatically go to full closure.

But, thank you again. I will not require that window deflector now.

You can't install deflector on frame less window.

Did those windows adjust (move up/down) whenever opening or closing the door?

Subaru's generally don't (my wife has a 2006). The good thing is that they don't need the fine-tuning our windows occasionally need. The bad thing is they let wind noise in, but fortunately cracking the window open a bit and re-closing it reseals the window until next time the door is open.

But, back to the OP, makes me shudder to think that someone would be so quick to cover up a problem on an otherwise nice car with a stick-on doodad. I guess these cars are hitting the bottom end of the market....

I get what you're saying 'takemorepills', but time was of the essence and we were about to get inclement weather and I didn't want to have wet leather seats and water up to my ankles in my nice G. Skrols was a lifesaver.

The kind that go on the outside and stick with tape are so cheap looking, in my humble opinion. No disrespect though. The other guy was referring to the kind that slips into the window frame. I have them for my Volvo. They come in so handy during the summer and when it's raining.

https://www.myg37.com/forums/body-in...ndow-fuse.html Try this. Turns out i had a bad fuse. Went to the junkyard and grabbed one and haven't had the problem happen again.

they looked fine. besides, it was a $25k Subaru, not a vintage Ferrari.

they kept a tidal wave of water from pouring on my arm if i cracked the window when it was raining or had water on the roof, so they were worth it to me.
