Unhappy What to do with wrecked G37S

Hey Everyone,

Haven't been on here in a while, but needed some advice. My 2008 G37S was recently involved in an accident. Long story short both insurance companies considered it 50/50 at fault (neither party receiving payment) and I only had liability on the car since it was paid off. I just purchased a 2015 Infiniti Q50S, but I need to figure out what to do with this vehicle sitting in my parents' driveway. Would love to part it out but just don't have the time at the moment and can't leave the car there for too long. The engine still runs fine and only has about 70,000 miles on it.

Do people buy/sell damaged cars on the forum or should I try craigslist or some other website? The car is located in Central NJ. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

That would probably be ideal for me although I know I would be losing some money in the process. I'm inclined to post it for $5000, but not sure how much people are willing to pay for a part out vehicle. Would I post it under G's FS or the private classifieds?

70,000 miles on the motor. There were no mechanical problems with the car before the accident.

Was it totaled? Someone who rebuilds cars and sells them would probably buy it from you and would likely give you a decent offer if it doesn't have to be a salvage title.

Man, if you do part it out, I need a driver side fog lamp assembly.

The title is clean (no salvage) since I couldn't get anything from insurance. Sorry no fog lamps on the vehicle.

If you part out I need the license plate bracket for the rear license plate that the plate screws into. Its a long black plastic piece.

Post it all over facebook and craigslist and hope someone will be willing to buy and rebuild it. If not see if copart will buy it.

lol @ people asking for parts. Craigslist it for sure. Someone will rebuild it and salvage the title. $5k seems fair but I have no idea. Good luck with this. Congrats on the new q50.

When I saw the front I was like, "I could easily flip that", then I went to the next side picture and said "oh, F that...".

Lol. The Craigslist option is working out well so far. Got an offer for $3000. Going to wait and see if someone offers more.
