Smells like exhaust or gas when running A/C

hi telecomman
everything ive read about blowers says blowers blow and circulate air. it doesnt say anything about vacuuming air downwards. i kno none of it makes sense as to how the filter is catching debris if the blower is blowing upwards. so i dont really kno for sure how the air is being circulated. if the blower is sucking air down then that means the air is circulated downwards and there should be channels under the blower? i even tried looking at the hac section of the fsm and the air flow diagram (non trivial) doenst show any air flow under the blower unit.

That's nice of them. I read for the prius their imprint says up and doesn't say air flow. So now I've read theres different cabin filter with arrows some say air flow some is jus an arrow and people say it means 2 different things. Fk man lol

Even belts, oil changes, spark plugs, window tint etc? You do know most all dealerships that accept cars for body work in fact just hand it over to a local body shop and use aftermarket fenders, door skins, plastics etc right?
