Help - can't decide on exhaust

Hey guys,

Ive been reading around these forums and I feel the conscesus is Invidia and Ark are the top two exhausts. I am really torn on whcih one and unfortunately don't have the ability to go to any meets near me to hear them for myself.. I am lookig for a deep mean look, as little rasping as possible and just something that sounds mean and angry.

I know that if i do drop my car, Ark may be a problem, but i would ever slam it so i do not think this will be a issue for me as I have to keep some practiacilty.

PLease give your thoughts, I would like to order this tomorrow, just struggling more than I should, just want it to be perfect.

Thank you!!!

Ark for the win!!! I have a greddy which I'm in love with but between the two your choosing from I'd definitely have to say Ark for sure! That's just my opinion

This should help your decision...

Ark -

Invidia -

Got my Ark 2 weeks ago and can't stay out of the gas lol. I'm in love with the sound. It's deep and exotic sounding imo, it has slight drone when going up hill but absolutely none on hwy. I might add that the only reason I hear this very small drone is because I have my radio almost off just to enjoy the sound more. Have gotten many compliments so far on sound and looks (had a guy snapping pics of the rear end a few days ago)...out of the 2 exhaust you've listed, drop the extra hundreds on the Ark.

Check out Tanabe...I ordered mine through Importparts pro, I got a great price and they sound and look great. I heard ARK sits low and catches speed bumps....
You really cant do wrong with any of these...its all about which you can get at the best price because honestly 1 is not superior to the other...

Those were the earlier versions of the exhaust it's been fixed!
I have the early version and have no issues and is it pretty damn low

My customers love the Ark Performance exhaust. You need to hear it in person, you'll love it! They're going for a great price right now also.

This is true and the issue was mostly on the Sedan models. Not on the coupe as much.

Some great examples here, my personal favorites just from listening to videos are Tanabe or Invidia. That being said, is it just me or are the VQ motors very easy to make raspy? I feel like replacing anything more than the catback will get raspy unless you add more resonators.

I didn't know ARK had fixed the low sitting cans issue?

Are there new/old part numbers? I wouldn't want to order an ARK and get the old model shipped to me.

Almost every ARK exhaust that I have seen for sale used has had scrapes/damage on the bottom of the cans.

I would agree that the FI is probably the best. But the price and wait time is what I don't care for.

The part numbers are still the same. The difference is the version however the older versions haven't been in production in years and we constantly are replenishing our stock from ARK.
