gas mileage?
i just used seafoam for my oil, vacuum line, and fuel tank...runs like new. i'm averaging about 19-21 doing daily commute @ 85ish mph. i've never seen mpg that low unless you're running different a higher ratio final drive..
Ive been pretty much spot on with the window sticker. 17 city, 25 highway. Actually, maybe a little better on the highway.
When people say it's not up to snuff with modern cars, i have to disagree. My father has an ecoboosted lincoln that has the same epa rating and needs 2 turbos and direct injection to make roughly the same power. He gets 13 around town and 20 on the highway.
It's just physics. It takes a certain amount of energy to accelerate a certain weight to a certain speed. You want a 330hp GT car, you're not gonna get honda civic gas milage.

Also 335i, mustang v6/eco get 30+ on highway easily (in fact 35-40mpg is quite common) if you know how to hypermil. I don't know which lincoln you are talking about but as far as I know they are heavy, not aerodynamic and some of the mare awd so that comparison is irrelevant. Also turbo direct injection engines are efficient as long as you use them out of boost and gently, if you push they will consume a lot. The problem is with the current g37 no matter how gently u use you will still get crappy mpg in city like a v8 and that sucks.
For the last 1-2 years there are lots of vehicles with the same power output and considerably better mpg.
Still I like my G37 coupe a lot...

Try 335d and you will be surprised, just as fast as g37(actually faster) and you can easily get 45-50mpg on the highway and 30mpg on average. Too bad Bmw no longer brings that 3 liter turbo diesel to the states.

could u name some? i'm genuinely curious. i would love a vehicle like this but with better mileage
So, comparing similar cars, the 335i xdrive is a mere 20k more, slightly smaller and lighter and gets 3mpg better, until you turn off the horrendous auto stop start system.
Can't defy the laws of physics.

Btw as used I think G37x coupe is an amazing value I am just pointing out something else.
In short the 2liter turbos outputting 270-300 hp with direct injection and the direct injection V6 (especially with the new fuel management) will get better mpg when you go easy on them.
However I like the q50 hybrid and I think infiniti should just switch to direct injection and continue the hybrids.
