Windshield replaced, now I hear creaks

It all depends on state laws, not so much the insurance company, unfortunately. Minnesota has laws that require the insurance company to provide optional full coverage glass replacement, while Illinois does not. Some other states such as Arizona, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts and South Carolina are zero deductible states where the coverage is automatically bundled with comprehensive insurance. In Illinois, the choices are pay for it yourself, or file a claim where the deductible applies. Obviously, paying for the windshield is the better option.
