Programming a new key fob

I have an 08 g37 and need to purchase a new key fob for my vehicle. Is it possible to program the key fob to my vehicle without going to the dealership? The dealership is trying to charge me $120 just to program a key fob...

Yeah there are numerous dealerships since I'm in Atlanta. I believe it will be cheaper to have a locksmith do it so I will probably go that route.

Yes, it's possible. I've had my spare key programmed by someone else in CA. It was $140 for the fob and programming. Good luck finding someone local. Maybe craigslist has somebody?

In the old G35 it took $0 and 30 secs to program a keyfob. But it doesn't work on G37 anymore, have to go to the dealer or someone else with the right equipment.

Do locksmiths have access to the right equipment to program the Infiniti fob?

Most do not. Most only work with GM and Honda's and Hyundai's.

Try a Nissan dealer instead of the Infffffff dealer

Some security shops and locksmiths can do it. I'm sure they will charge less than the dealerships will.
