Some more Q60 stuff for ya

 

Z rumors have been pretty dry lately. Maybe we will here more after the Q60 launches. Sadly tho, the lack of Z rumors leads me to believe they will change it a lot. I would not be surprised if it gets lighter, smaller and the new turbo 4 that Infiniti is coming out with. The one with variable compression that is going in the new qx50.

 

There will be some pissed off peeps on the Z forum if that's indeed true. We'll be able to hear their collective screams on this forum, LOL.

 

That commercial itself is pretty weak .... IMHO, but get some good views of the car.

 

Someone test driving and (kinda) reviewing a new Q60

You can hear that digital exhaust note through the speakers. I hope you can turn it off. Sounds a little like a video game

 

Starting the engine sounds nice and aggressive from that commercial

 

I'd like to see as well. Can sum1 take some pics with the lights on??

 

I'll see what I can do on the lightning when we drive our tester later this month. It also looks like we will be getting a 3.0t AWD (300hp, non sport) some time this month.

 

Wow, nice ad. I haven't really been into the design since it was revealed and even after seeing it in person at the NY Auto Show. But I've got to admit, it looks much better in motion. Then again, I might be convinced to buy a lot of things from Jon Snow.

lmao its nonexistent. why the hell does infiniti keep reducing the distinct g35 exhaust note. they reduced it on the g37 and now theyve completely removed it on the q60...fkn sad

 

I guess to sell you an exhaust.

 

The G35 had some of the best exhaust note. You can spot it from a block away.

I guess Infiniti realized they can make more money by charging an extra $500+ for the "sports" exhaust like they do for the G37, Q50 and probably the upcoming Q60.

Even then, it still doesn't sound as good as the G35.

 

Idk I doubt they're selling that many sport exhausts to a make any real money from it. Most don't even kno it existed. I didn't if it wasn't for this forum. I only knew about it a year ago and the car came out in 08, granted I only got the g back in march but came from a 03 g35. U rarely see it for sale used and rarely see it on a g

 

You're also sticking two turbines in the exhaust path. That has a pretty big effect on sound.
