Good I think 7 is about the max I prefer for driveability. I thought 6 was optimal. But I know they are adding more gears to help with fuel economy these days.

 

I just cannot get on board with this new design Infiniti chose. I will be moving on to another car when the time comes (1-2 years I think). I honestly like the sedan better than this new coupe.

 

I hear ya Ryne. I've seen android auto and for me, if I buy a lux sport, it's a must have or close to it. But, then there was a day when I didn't want A/C, so I could change my mind if her daddy owns a bar. (Old guy line. :-) Thx for the link.

 

Good to see that Android Auto will be offered! Figured that it would be coming pretty quick!

 

Not to burst anyone's bubble here but the Android Auto thing is posted by a dealership. There is no Android Auto on any of the 16s nor on the new QX30. I don't think it will be on the new coupe either. Infiniti is still listed as a future partner on Android Autos website but that's it.

This is one of those times where I wouldn't believe everything a dealer says. I want it as much as the next guy but its not coming out in the next year.

 

So here is a wish list item for the 7AT:

Make 7th gear a real over drive and give it a .5 to 1 ratio instead of the .78 or whatever it currently is. With the new engine making all that torque at 1,600 rpm, there's no need to spin the engine at 2,500 rpm when you're going 80 mph on the highway.

 

I got a feeling Infiniti is going to over a bunch of color options both exterior and interior on the Q60 coupe. Also 19 n 20 inch wheels. Just got a feeling.

Well first I'm going go apologize for the grammar. Second, stone, graphite and wheat arnt going to be the only options. Also expect to see a few additional exterior colors over the current q50 options. Still trying to decipher a few things.

 

Good to know! Though I am set on graphite interior. Do you know if the interior headliner/pillars will be offered in black, as it looks like it might be from a couple of pics online?

Was hoping they would offer some additional exterior colors. Really wanting a darker steel gray color.

 

I don't know about the headliner but I would count on it in some of the trims. As for a darker gray, not sure. I'm hoping we see some official stuff here soon. I will say I don't think they will drop till August or early sept.

From all the images and videos I have seen of the car thus far....

There will be....

Black leather, white leather, peanut butter leather, and red leather.

For trim, there will be silver carbon, black carbon, blurple carbon, aluminum, and black lacquer.

Here is a sneak peak at the blurple carbon.

 

I don't believe those are coming to the US. Now things might not be finalized but im hoping we see something here in the next 30 days. Somethings gotta give.

 

I happen to believe different trims will be available for different engine choices.

Its possible they will offer the aluminum and the black lacquer on the 2.0T's, and the carbon choices on the 300HP and the 400HP models.

Only time will tell.
