Chirping sound in dash HELP!

Ok for the last couple of weeks I have started noticing a highly annoying chirping sound from what appears to be the passenger side dash of the car. I pressed against and opened the glove box, but no change. I've pressed down on the dash on that side while driving. I checked the sunglass holder, the coin holder, but nothing seems to stop it. I notice it when I'm travelling down the highway, and it appears to disappear if I hit a bump, but then starts right back up. I also noticed that it went away when corning hard, like the force is keeping whatever is rubbing together.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's not necessarily a rattle, but a constant chirping sound. I'm assuming two things are obviously rubbing together, but have no idea how to locate the culprit.

Thanks

Either get someone else to search while you drive or drive so you can search carefully.

Or try a few shots of silicone spray; you might get lucky...

^^ holy heck, this is exactly what has been happening to me lately. it is driving me nuts. i already was chasing down some other rattles in the rear of the cabin - i think those baby car seat hook covers are rattling. then my dash started chirping under certain temperatures or conditions. only when driving, and the slightest road imperfection sets it off. not the big bumps, but the subtle bumps.

i have tried pressing the passenger dash, opening and adjusting the glove box, punching the seat but nothing helps. like the above post mentions, i think the best way is to have a passenger help to pin down the source.

it's like there is a bird in the dash somewhere...

This.

My car was doing the same thing last winter, but hasn't done it since. Winter is coming up again so we'll see.
