With nothing else CF on the exterior of the car I think it looks silly. I'd never do it.

From: Framingham Ma,
I Really like them , especially AK's stuff had them on my coupe as well, a long with diffuser ,trunk spoiler , and Hood.

On my sedan I have their side skits, rear diffuser in CF and I plasti dipped their trunk spoiler.

props for trying something out on your own and blazing your own trail! that shift **** looks OK, maybe a bit too big and round and chunky looking. i think the GTI has a round **** as well, but smaller and not machined aluminum. good workmanship and materials at least...looks a bit phallic but no biggie. similar to Rikter above, i'm not feeling the CF mirror wrap even though it looks like you did a good job of it. might just be the OEM side of my brain though...

Looking good, and agree about the mirror covers, I did the same thing (hydrographic CF though) and also did the front chin spoiler. My front spoilers' CF started to chip so I went black. Just the mirror covers by themselves look a bit off, but if you go CF on a front spoiler and possibly a rear diffuser it would flow pretty well IMO.

I'm not a fan of unpainted carbon fiber. It isn't the worst thing I've ever seen, but I'd rather spend my own cash on other items.
