Just got in from Los Toros in Chatsworth,Ca. Tails are plenty bright with those giant lenses & rings of bulbs. Pretty common in the SFV to see similar mods every where. Most cops lookin for gang bangers, not tinted tails.

 

The tint really made a difference, it looks pretty nice. The painted taillights, im not really a fan IMO it looks kinda dated. However congrats on the car

 

Tinted tail lights bring visions of a very large tractor trailer driving through/over you on a foggy night on CA99. To each his own and not good looking at all IMO.

You're just cranky because he's not lovin' the tints...

 

I would think that dark a tint on the tails would get you regularly pulled over. The tint looks good. A color-matched spoiler would help with the look in back.

Whatever color you have back there won't prevent a truck nailing you from the side!

 

As I’ve posted before, the issue is not really if you’ll be pulled over or not. Rather, most tinted tails compromise safety and expose the owner to insurance claim refusal should there actually be a rear-end accident.

I wonder what was going through the car drivers mind seconds before the collision....? He veered left with what looks like a slight attempt to avoid the truck. Wouldn't your fist reaction be to FLOOR IT !?!

 

Next, do a single exhaust with a big can.
