2013 Coupe - Windshield Wipers

Anyone else with a 2013 coupe notice that the wipers squeak whenever the arms extend fully upwards? I noticed this in the rain last night. They start off fine but make a squeak before going back downward. Are the blades not on right or do the oem blades do this?

Thanks.

Some clarification. The driver's side wiper arm seems to extends slightly past the edge of the windshield on full swipe. At that point is where the weird squeaking sound occurs especially when it's raining heavy and the wipers are on high.

Would it be a simple adjustment of the nut, or is the bushing broken and causing the wiper to swipe too far? Car has 1500 miles. Thanks.

No, but I have an issue with my driver's side blade leaving streaks on the way down.

Went to the dealer they swapped the whole assembly - started happening 2 days later again. Not sure what the deal is...drives me nuts though because it's right in my view of driving.

Your car new comes from the factory glass with no oils or anything to help water run off.

Just detail your front glass with a good Wax like Chemical Guys. This will help the rain to run off. I can drive at 60mph in the rain with no wipers and water just shoots off.

Just picked up my new 2013; haven't used the wipers yet and don't expect any rain for another few months...

Maybe yours just need to break in..?

Does it make any noise? My C30 rear wiper did that and made a squeaking noise as well. I needed to grind off a bit off of the hinge stop because it was causing the blade to lie loosely on the windshield. Problem solved.

lol guys just need to detail the glass! it's the factory coat that's making the rubber not glide over smooth.
