Can someone tell me how each year is different? I'm trying to figure it out and buy a used coupe. other than lip im having a hard time seeing it. I did search here but couldn't find a good answer. I know this is a complete noob question but look at my post number lol.

 

2009 and 2010 g37s has the same front bumper as 2011+ NONSPORT. 2011+ has foglights intergrated in both nonsport and sport edition. Interior is different sorta. sit in each one if you get the chance. feels totally different

 

I've sat and drove 2009 and seen a 2010 and 11. Can u elaborate? Thanks again

 

the door trim is made out of different material. doesnt degrade/turn tacky and annoying as 2008 and 2009. the speedometer is different as well. 2008 to 2009 is a huge jump if you get automatic. 5AT to 7AT

 

So u recommend going with a 2010 or above?

 

I had a 2009 G37S before my 2013 G37X

Interior wise, the biggest difference is the speedometer. They changed the color to White where in the 09' it was blue. The seats feel the same. The trim might be a little better. Added features on the navigation like all time weather + Live traffic (I have no use for that).

Exterior wise. No big change minus the different rims and as chris stated, the bumper change plus headlights..

Honestly, if you are like most people and like to save some money i'd go with an 09'. Same engine, same power, more money in your pocket.. Plus I think the 2009 Sport rims look better!

 

I have a 2010, kinda wish I got a 2011 for the fogs that are in the the bumper and I think the headlights are black instead of chrome too. But then again I'm glad I got the 2010 over the 2009 for the Bluetooth streaming, HD screen, etc...

 

how about the screen and navi? I've heard there is a huge difference there too

 

i have a 2009 g37x i dont have streaming bluetooth and it killing me!!!! i found a 2010 unit cd navigation avi gps... i was wounder if i buy it and change out my, i call it brain would i have the feature or do i have to change the wiring harness... i know there cheaper ways but a friend wreck his and said i could buy his navi

 

I have a 2010, I do wish I had the fog lights in the bumper but that is a simple enough mod. I thought they had some changes to the body in 2010, but I don't know what they were...and it could have been 2011. The 2009 has a red screen in between the tach and spedometer, the 2010 has a whiteish blue which I think is so much better, so much I would go for the 10 over the 09. Also, the 09 was the last year they had the card reader near the climate control. If you want that (which I don't think anyone wants) you need the 09.

If I could do it again, I would probably have held out for an 11, so I had the fogs in the bumper and a year newer

2011+ has different front lip, different ecu, different transmission (for some), different interior options, different display options for dash and navi

 

Big difference aside from the better looking speedo/ info display for 2010 and up, the nav display is also High Res and very sharp.

The HDD is also an upgrade plus DVD, I think the 08 and 09 don't have them. But not 100% sure on that part.
