G37s Weird Noise??? help

Hey guys i have a 08 g37s coupe and after i go for a drive and put the car in park, it makes these weird popping crackling noises even after i turn off the engine. What could this be? im taking it to the dealer next week to get it checked out but am still curious to see what might cause this? Is it a minor issue?

Perfectly normal. Fluids cooling & settling, metal (exhaust pipes) cooling down and contracting etc.. Is this your first car?

Please don't go to the dealer with that. They will laugh in your face.

I assumed it was normal however its a bit excessive. For a car that only has 39k miles the noise is louder than alot of older cars.

Quick take it to the dealer...they mistakenly installed a jiffy pop machine on the manifold! Honestly my wife's car does the same thing...hers is a G37 coupe as well. All cars do it as explained by G37Sam...some are just a tad louder than others.

Actually dude, that might be your muffler bearings. If one of those went out, you'd have to replace your entire transmission.

It's fine man, don't worry about it. A car is a machine, remember that.

I just replaced my muffler bearings last week! We bought extra ones for when they go out again.
