Repair Cost

How much do you think this would cost to fix? If I'm planning to get a new car in the next year would it even be worth it to fix?

I'm assuming the entire back bummer will have to be replaced.

That doesn't look that bad! You can try using a blow dryer and heat it up from behind and push it back out.

You could fix this yourself,.. At least straight it out. Use a heat gun to evenly hear surrounding area and than push it from the inside of the bumper, with your hadn.. or something that is nor sharp and wont make bumps or dents

i hit a racoon on my way to work with my old car a couple years ago and put a big dent in the front bumper that looks similar to what you have there.
after doing some research i removed the front bumper and used a heat gun to slowly heat the damaged area from the inside. when it was pliable enough i pushed it back out and rinsed with cold water. it worked great. just be careful to heat slowly and not make it super hot. you want to take care not to melt it.

I was quoted a price of $450 to fix or $1100 to replace the bumper. The bumper will need to be repainted if fixed. But he said it will be weak there, so will damage easy plus it won't look 100%.

My rims are also marked up pretty bad. I didn't notice for a few days since I was only worried about the bumper. My insurance company said it isn't worth suing the tow company. Even though they did the damage, I would still probably lose more going to court then I could win,
