Removing Rear Splash Guard on Coupe

I tried going the search option, but couldn't find any information on this.
Does anyone know how the Rear Splash guard is secured in place?
I see fasteners on the bottom wheel well, but is the rest of it secured with double sided tape?

I'm trying to refit the rear splash guard to get it lined up with the rear "diffuser cutout" for a lack of better description...

I will be installing the V2 CF diffuser today, and found pics that had the splash guard lined up flush to the diffuser, where others, were offset and didn't look as good.

This link/post shows best, what I am talking about.
The red coupe has the splash guard lined up very well, whereas the white one is very offset.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Yes a couple of strips of 3m-type tape as well.

Spray some Goo Gone on it and let it soak it. It'll make it pliable enough for you to peel off. You should scrape of any remaining adhesive and get some double sided tape on it. since the Goo Gone will render the old tape useless.

It's probably the "fit and finish" of the piece. I don't have Auto Kits pieces so I cannot attest to their quality, but this is why people say go with a reputable company or go OEM (ie aftermarket rear spoilers is one that comes into mind)

I'm not talking about the autokits diffuser.... the diffuse acutally fits really nice to the little cutout it was designed to cover.

I was talking about the OEM rear splash guard that is not fit properly coming from the factory
