IF you are under warranty, and that is your picture, get them to replace the lower seat cover as well. You have some bad seat bubbling. You can do a search on some common things many of us get replaced under warranty.

 

my dealer refuses to replace it for me, they told me its wear and tear ...

 

Kearny Mesa Infiniti of San Diego, CA did my bottom seat, no questions asked. However, they did not replace the whole seat bottom, but rather the leather cover and maybe the foam.

Push them on it - good luck.

 

If its an 08, then its the clear plastic that's scratching. There is a thin layer of clear vinyl over the door handles, and shifter. You can sand it off, but I would go with the updated washi trim that comes in the 09+ models.

 

when did get ur replaced? because i bought my car as a certified pre own and it's already has 43xxx miles on it...

And do you still have the invoice ?

I ended up covering mine in vinyl wrap as per the pic. Very easy to do and the only tools required are thumbs and a hair dryer. They both turned out great but I could have fixed them to perfection if I had taken some extra time initially.

I am tempted to recover the other trim bits in vinyl wrap now. We will see.

If anyone is interested in covering their interior door handles in vinyl wrap, I have a lot of extra vinyl. No charge except for my shipping costs from Toronto, Canada. Send me an e-mail if you would like enough vinyl wrap to cover a pair of door handles.
