Dam.

I've known Danny for quite some time, and I've seen him mold his G from 100% stock form, to the beauty you see in the "before" shots he posted. Even showed with him a few times and my first track experience at Streets of Willow was with me in my car and him in his G.

Sucks to read what happened, and lots of times, bad things happen to good people. Why? No one knows.

Glad to hear everything was squared away, because I know it was a huge burden on his back dealing with it, as I'm sure it would be for anyone. The outcome could have been 10000000 times worse, so just be glad you're still able to write this brah.

Man tears were almost shed.

Glad that you are okay! from the look of the after pics.
Get well soon and check with a doctor, you never know what other damage you got from that accident. Great looking G...something died inside of me after seeing that black and white pic...

Thanks guys. I walked away with no neck, head (wore a helmet), or back injury. xray shows no broken bones. Doctor said just bruised ribs and cartilage on the bottom of my right rib cage. Most likely from the seat belt.

Conclusion: our G is one safe car, as proven by my independent review.

Group hug.

I was thinking of tracking before, but then at one event I saw someone's M3 and heavily-modded RX-7 get totaled right before my eyes. The M3 was just purchased a few days prior.

Not worth it to me! But I understand those that love it.

If I ever try it, it definitely won't be in my G!

My motorcycle crash 6 months ago had me reexamining why I am riding. Came to the conclusion that I still enjoy it, but hate dealing with the local traffic/idiots. Decided to sell the bike this coming spring and take a break for a few years (or until I move to an area more conducive to bikes). Got rear ended at an intersection.

I've been riding for close to 20 years and swore I'd never stop. Things change, certain events make you reconsider.

I am glad to hear you are OK. That is definately a part of going to the track people don't always think about. You definately had a nice set up there RIP.
