Review: Autokits V1 Diffuser - With pics!

Finally got around to taking a few pictures. Sorry for the bad cellphone quality, but that's the best I can do for now.

Delivery/Packaging: The entire process from ordering to seeing it at my front door took about 2.5 weeks. Great, speedy delivery. The packing was amazing as always from Autokits. There was lots of quality buddle-wrap and "Fragile - Handle With Care" stickers on the box.

Installation: The install is straightforward and simple even if you're a noob at this. I recommend getting your own bolts for it, though; I went to a local hardware store and bough black bolts/washers/nuts to blend in with the carbon color. You can replace the stock plastic clips on the bottom of the bumper, which the diffuser utilizes, with bolts and washers like I did. In terms of the 3M double-tape, I did not add any of my own, although I originally planned to. After you set the diffuser in place with the bolts in 3 places, it's more than enough to hold it firmly to your car. The whole process took no more than 30 minutes. Don't forget to super-wash your car and prep the entire diffuser area with alcohol! I also used a fan to heat up the tape so it can stick better. It really helped.

Fitment: As always, if there's any good fitment you want, Autokits has it. I would generalize it to be 98% perfect. Nothing sticks out and you don't have to bend anything for it to fit. Slap it on and you're good. I guess there is still a margin of error if you decide to stick the 3M tape too early, but if you do it properly, it'll be next to flawless. From any angle, it looks evenly-situated. The best way is to screw the bolts on first, align it and then peel the strips off.

Overview: The V1 looks very subtle and very clean, in my opinion. I am non-lowered and it suits the stance and car perfectly. Flows really well altogether with my CF mirrors and mufflers! I am very happy with this mod. It really gets you a more complete look of the bumper. It also hides the tips nicely and they don't stick out as much. Looks quite sexy on the G overall.

Thanks to Autokits-X for another great product. Alex is the man to deal with!
Now onto the pics; they really don't do it justice, however. The diffuser looks amazing in person:

Where are you in Oregon? You keep your ride very considering these weather conditions.

I live south of Portland in a small town called Woodburn, but I'm generally in the Portland area for my daily life. I try to keep it clean, but the rain usually ruins the looks every week. Are you in Oregon, too?

Looks good! I did the exact same thing with some bolts and washers. The plastic clips weren't locking very well, bolts and washers did the trick

The reason that I went with the V1 is because I am not lowered and thought that the V2 would look too aggressive for that stance. V1 flows more subtly with a stock ride hight, whereas if I were lowered, I'd probably go with the V2 myself.

Exactly! The plastics are too small to hold the addition of the CF within them, so the best is to use your own.

Only the Right tip does--it's slighty off--because my exhaust wasn't installed to perfection, I believe. I'm gonna try to get it adjusted later on. However, it doesn't pose a problem at all. The tips on the FI kinda face outwards, so I guess it's inevitable.

Wait, what? How do you know? I'm under the impression that my car doesn't have 4WAS at all.

looks good. their is more and more blue slate g's, i like it. My exhaust tip is real close to my diffuser on the right side too. i think its like that for everyone who changes their exhaust. maybe even the stock setup too. keep up the good work. any other plans for your car?
