G37 swap from AT to MT

I’ve had my car for about 2 years and haven’t really been to enjoy it due to it being an automatic. so i’ve been thinking about tranny swapping to manual. has anyone here done that? if so do you have any tips?

You're in luck @BxG3? has just created a pretty thorough list of what's needed.

PS: I own a 7at and drive a few MT VHRs and I've been able to enjoy both. Drifting, racing and beating both. I prefer the 7at overall only choosing MT for heavy heavy power

You might possibly need a flashed ecm. The only thing my auto doesnt let me do is a clutch dump because of the obvious but every thing else it does just fine. Burn out, drift, power slide so there's that.

Tuning software installed to the factory ecm. Uprev or ECUTEK which are both needed for tuning and if you're interested in swapping over to MT.

I encourage you to do some proper research into ALL of this. These cars are a bit more advance than most cars of their age. There are many limitations to modding so it's important that you know these things to avoid wasting your time and the time of others that will offer the help.
