So the steering wheel bezel was annoying the hell outta me so I decided to wrap it. Was fairly easy once I learned how to pull and stretch the 3M Di-noc with heat. I think I'm going to wrap my front emblemless grill with the 3M Scotchprint next.

WOW! Looks really nice!
Where did you get the 3M Di-noc, how much. And how long did it take you?
Which heat gun did you use?
Please make DIY on the grill, I really want to try this...

Thanks guys, I'll def do a write up for the grill. I feel I should have done a write up for taking the steering wheel off completely b/c it can be a bit tricky to get the bezel off if you don't know what you're doing.
For the wheel, folllow dieseldoug's writeup here... https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...or-pieces.html
then where you see these black tabs inserting into the metal in this pic below at the 5 oclock and 7 oclock positions, there's a vertical tab just to the right and left of each piece there, that you push to the side so that u can push the plastic casing off. There's these 2 tabs shown in the pic here, the other 2 tabs u can kinda see to the top right (of the left torx screw) and the top left (of the right torx screw) which you also have to push to the side for the plastic case to come off.

from there, it's just unscrewing 3 phillips screws to remove the bezel and then the smaller phillips screws to take the buttons off the bezel and you can begin wrapping!
(PS use a tamper-proof torx screwdriver because of the little groove sticking out of the first 2 initial torx screws to remove the wheel...I learned the hard way, and wound up drilling through both screws and using extractors to pull them out and replaced them with different bolts) I'll try to make a D.I.Y. for the grill.

got the 3M Di-noc from these guys on eBAY called metrorestyling ; great communication, shipping and everything. I'm using something called 3M Scotchbrite for the grille, they sent me a sample along with my di-noc, and the scotchbrite has more of a WET CF look, which would look more appropriate on the grill to match the hood.
The whole job took about 4 hours (hardest part was drilling out the damn torx screws after I jacked em out n stripped em)
Didn't use a heat gun, used a 15yr old hair-dryer
look for the D.I.Y. coming soon
Great, your trim looks exactly like mine! :the wave:
I already posted a DIY on removing the trim/bezel. It can be found here.
As for the wrapping, it's just wet (optional), apply, heat, and contour. Takes a lot or practice/patience though!
