I got the same issue..however I believe it is from the large size discrepancy on my new tires..my front are significantly smaller in diameter than my rear..after some research I have discovered that this is probably throwing off my wheel sensors..so I have just ordered new fronts to fit better and will report my findings....

things most people check when this happens:
Brake fluid/pads/rotors/wheel sensors(damage or corrosion).
Make sure your Brake lights are working when the dash lights come on...some people have reported a faulty switch which in turn kills your brake lights...dangerous
Even worse is that I have heard the transmission may have issues...

^^This. Usually means you fluid or pads are low.

no light...it was uneven overall wheel and tire diameter that was throwing off the wheel sensor..!

First check brake fluid, then it's likely brake pads worn down. Then it may be the wheel sensors but I'll have to get dealer to use re consult 3 to pull the codes. It will show you which wheel sensor. Last thing it can be is steering angle sensor (that was my problem).
If the sealer can't figure out what it is or is giving u crap about mods ask them to print out the consult 3 code readout and post it then we can help u better

i dont know why, but the brake fluid on the newer shipped infinitis is kind of low.

the fluid gets low enough to trip the light, but the pads are still at 50%. at least thats what happened to me.

brake fluid didn't fix it for me,it turned out I needed new brakes.

Its kind of cool that the G actually knows the brakes are bad, wish it spoke more clearly.

This happened recently as tonight after my rotors were machined last weekend (warped rotors TSB). Alignment was also done and all fluilds would have been checked . So I'll be checking the break fluid and maybe see if there are any codes.

What year is your G? I had the same thing happen two weeks after I got mine (2011 G Coupe xS) VDC and ABS lights came on and RPM wouldn't move past 2 1/2. Also the brakes led (only one, weird I know) wouldn't go off with ignition being completely off (had to unplug the battery). Basically upon taking it to dealership they fixed it in 30 min. Said it was faulty brake switch, hence why the car was in safety mode.

I have had my 09 x at the dealership multiple times for this problem. First they thought it was the break fluid, problem occured again after about 2 weeks. Then they replaced a faulty break switch (advisor said he was 100% sure that was the problem), same result after a couple of weeks. 3rd time they machined the rotors because they were supposedly slightly uneven, this actually changed the problem a little; we went from VDC and SLIP staying on and brake indicator would only flash once to now all 3 indicators staying on until I turn off the car and back on. So the car is at the dealership again today, Take 4! Mine seem to occur only in right turns but conditions have been varied from wet slippery to bone dry, aggressive driving or very slow. It almost seems random even thought I know that it isn't. No mods.

Yea I haven't had any issues since replacement of the switch so I think in my case that's what it was. We'll see what happens.

this happened to me twice in the past month, I called in today the dealership and asked the service advisor and she said it might be the pads. I will get them checked, last time I checked the brake fluid and it was ok. It might be time for new pads.
