a little off topic - but how'd you prove the grind from 1st to 2nd on aggressive shifts? they take it for a spin? i have the same issue...can't seem to prove it to the dealer

The service manager drove the car with me in the passenger seat. He was unable to replicate it, though. I could have driven and shown the issue to him, but it's only during very agressive shifts, and I didnt want him to think I was abusing the car.
I dont drive fast very often, anyway and the synchro is still decent. I'm just going to leave it unless it gets noticably worse. It's not worth the fight to me right now.
I've had both G25 and G37 sedans as loaners when I take my G37 auto coupe in for service. Totally agree about the lack of hp and torque on the G25. What amazes me is how different either sedan drives vs. the coupe. Not bad (chill sedan guys,) just different. Of course the coupe is lower, but the main difference to me is the coupe feels heavier (in a good way) and more solid.
