26k out the door is a fine price for AZ. After dealer fees, document fees, title, license and registration (which in AZ is based on vehicles value, not weight like some states but is tax deductible for this reason) and 9% sales tax I say you did good. This would put the amount paid for the car around 23k, which isn't bad at all. This, however, should have been you first clue because you aren't touching a sport from a dealer in AZ for under 26,500 before taxes and fees.
