I <3 my Infiniti...coming from a Accord to this I would say it's a sports car...
All about prespective imo...plus for a car that has 330hp getting on average 22MPG is pretty darn good imo since my accord only did 24MPG

IMO not a performance car to say the very least. I have performance cars in my garage and wanted a daily driver. I did not want a Civic or hybrid. Wanted a nice looking car that I could use as a daily driver. I understand that Infiniti is a luxo mark brand, BUT having this car chew tires and gas is a complete disaster. People will get turned away from this and Yes go buy a Altima coupe. Not as nice looking but way cheaper to maintain and is just as quick. I did my homework when purchasing the car but I guess not enough. As far as Infiniti goes, I will not be purchasing another.

If you were smart, you would have bought the M37 Hybrid. It would have solved every one of your complaints. Comes with 18 x 8.0-inch wheels all around and 245/50R18 V-rated all-season performance tires. Plus great gas milage.

Just purchased a G37S coupe 6MT fully loaded, as a daily driver. Love the style, and drives quite nice. The issues I have are:
1. It is NOT a performance car, so why premium fuel?
2. The tire life is brutal. Why put offset wheels that you cannot rotate?
3. Why did this car come with summer tires and NOT all seasons?
4. Fuel economy is very poor. it is not a pig on gas its a bastard on gas.
Unless you take this car to the track to race, (I would not as it is just not even close to being fast) you do not get the benefit of the premium gas and tires.

...And what would YOU know about a "performance" car? What experience are you basing this off of...Lol.
This is how you sound right now chief...

Stop lying chief...you could'nt have done any research.
HILARIOUS this guy!!

Sorry but Yes you are right? I stand corrected that the Altima is NOT as quick, but a 0-60 time of 5.7 sec vs G37 5.5 sec is not that far off and way cheaper. Who is the Chief now. If I wanted an M45 I would have bought it but I am not the over 50 crowd just yet!!!

1. What IS a performance car? Do you know how to drive it?
2. What is non-brutal tire life?
3. Because you bought the sport package. Perhaps you didn't want a sporty car?
4. Stop mashing that gas pedal. I'm sure your other "performance" cars don't get good MPG either. Unless you have a vette.

So, tell me.

1. I have a Lotus Elise, yes it is light and I know how to drive it, and its cheap on gas.
2. 18,000 miles for rear tires is just plain dumb. Dealer has said this. Not sure if it is a Bridgestone thing.
3. Wanted a 6MT not a boring automatic
4. Shifting at 3,000 RPM is not mashing the pedal. Dealer has told me this is the standard fuel economy. I call it crap.

To each their own I guess. You should have gone with the likes of the G25, 328i or A4 2.0t in order to.get all the creature comfort, great gas mileage and good tire life. Infiniti is not to blame here, u are. U could always return it. Considering the G is not a performance car and u bought it as a daily driver, do u mind posting the performance car(s) you mentioned was in your garage?
