Looking for a g37

hey guys im a noobie here. im about to sell my sti and im hopping on the g train. im looking for to buy a 2008 g37s. i just have a few general questions. First thing ill probably going to do is drop it a little. i just dont feel like paying $800+ for coilovers. Would it be a good idea to cut the springs a little. im looking for like a 2 inch drop or should i just get springs? And are there any dope front lips for them. ive seen a couple but they are hella big i just want like a little front lip. and do they sell fogs that can fit into the bumper? And what is better for racing? the paddle shifters or 6 speed? thanks alot in advance

Cutting the stock springs is NO NO. it won't fit right on the strut and If you get the spring too hot it will fail. Just get the Eibach Springs if you want ~1 drop and maintain the factory ride quality. Check out Stillen Splitter or autokits x if you just want a little front lip. Get 6 spd for racing. good luck

Haha Dont cut the springs! If you want a 2 inch drop go with s-techs or h&r springs, And The most suttle lips would be a stillen splitter or autokits x.

Congrats stepping up to the G, you gonna love it. I have no regrets sold my 07 STi. as for springs goes, Eibach will give you a moderate drop with no compromise in ride quality.
