Hmmm ... in the article they say the IPL weights 3,696 lbs, not that much more than a regular G37's weight(3,633).

There is no way the IPL is 0.5 seconds slower to 60 just because of 50 lbs. =/

I'd love to see some other road test results from owners/magazines, maybe the car they had wasn't in the best shape.

Ok, they are stock, but how is he measuring them? G-tech is a device that measures 0-60 times etc.

I believe InsideLine uses a Racelogic Vbox, they had an article written somewhere that explains their testing technique.

Here's the article - http://www.insideline.com/features/h...nd-trucks.html

my dealer has it for $48k MSRP.

It's really not that bad consider it comes Fully Loaded with every options and than some. Just think of it as buying a fully loaded G37 and paying a bit extra for the special body kit and rims.

you can probably talk the price down to invoice price, which is $45k that doesn't seems half bad.

Invoice price found here:

I just saw it at the dealer yesterday. It's ok looking, though not for me. I love the red seats, but they with the black dash look retarted with the light colored pillars and headliner. What were they thinking, would it really have added much to have a darker headliner and pillars, especially with red seats.

.5 seconds isn't a big difference. Try thinking of half a second. All tests aren't done on the same day so they aren't really comparable anyway.

The car is going to be no faster, and if it was simply an RPM raise to get the 5hp or whatever it was...it might be slower.

I'll reserve judgment on looks until I see one...but i think it's ugly.

Things I love the most is pipes & rims, also color was amazing. One day I might trade my X on it ... Unless new G will be out next year or so.

Look at the fine print, 5.8 was the time with the traction control off, 6.5 seconds was the 0 - 60 time with traction control on.

0-60 (sec): 5.8 (6.5 TC On)
