Unhappy Scratches in Brushed Aluminum

Was wondering if anyone knew how to get scratches out of the aluminum trim? The door handles scratch if you touch them wrong. Thanks.

Thought so. Thanks. It's a shame they scratch so easy. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm thinking of having mine painted to colormatch the exterior of the car when I colormatch my front lip. (A. Graphite)

Its considered wear and tear they will not, i've asked. You can buy the door trim piece on ebay from an infiniti dealership for 35-37$. Its the same seller who sells the keyhole delete piece...

The washi trim tends to hide light scratches because it blends in with the trim pattern. The 2010+ shodo trim may not hide scratches as well, can't say since I have an 09

I have a 2010 and my driver side panel scratched bad when my brother accidently opened the door with a key in his hand and it scratched the shodo piece.

only thing you can do is try and "hide" the scratches as good as possible

I believe the door handles for 2010 Coupe is actually plastic, unlike the rest of the trim which are shodo aluminum.

You're correct. The trim piece is plastic and scratches very easily. I couldn't understand how it got scratched so badly until I noticed that whenever I was reaching down with my left arm, my watch was touching the handle scratching and marking the finish.
I searched the forum and found a great fix: Cover the handles with 3M carbon composite decals. Got a sheet of 3M decal, removed the handles and applied the decal. Looks not too bad, at least better that scratched finish.
